The Tulane Center for K-12 STEM Education and STEM Library Lab are partnering together on a new collaboration, the Louisiana Alliance for STEM Teaching (LAAST), and we would LOVE for you to attend our Kickoff event!!!

The Alliance will provide K-12 science and math teachers in the state with professional development events, direct access to high quality STEM equipment and tools to utilize in their classrooms, networking opportunities to collaborate with other teachers, and resources that will help them build lesson plans and incorporate hands-on activities into their curriculum. The Alliance will unify the STEM education ecosystem in the region with the primary goal of supporting classroom teachers and educators and connect them with STEM-focused nonprofits in the region.

The LAAST Kickoff will be Thursday, November 17th from 4:00-7:00pm at the STEM Library Lab (3011 N I 10 Service Rd E, Metairie, LA 70002) and we would LOVE to have you attend! There will be an opportunity at the event to provide us insight on how to best support Louisiana classroom teachers and educators as well as how to bring community partners together!
