The Tulane Center for K-12 STEM Education and STEM Library Lab are partnering together on a new collaboration, the Louisiana Alliance for STEM Teaching, and we would LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK!!!

The Alliance will provide K-12 science and math teachers in the state with professional development events, direct access to high quality STEM equipment and tools to utilize in their classrooms, networking opportunities to collaborate with other teachers, and resources that will help them build lesson plans and incorporate hands-on activities into their curriculum. The Alliance will unify the STEM education ecosystem in the region with the primary goal of supporting classroom teachers and educators.

We are hosting one in-person and one virtual focus groups in September and would love your participation! Each teacher will receive $50 stipend for participation in the focus group.  These checks will be processed through Tulane’s accounting system so please allow 4 weeks to receive the check in the mail. 

• In-Person: Saturday, September 17th, 9:00-10:30am at the STEM Library Lab (3011 N I 10 Service Rd E, Metairie, LA 70002), Breakfast Provided
• Virtual: Thursday, September 22nd, 5:30-6:30pm on Zoom

Space is limited for each session! Please register with the form below as soon as possible if you are able to participate! If you are unable to participate, no worries! We plan to distribute an online survey to STEM teachers to get additional feedback.  I have also attached a flyer about the Alliance.
